Tal Melamed is the Co-Founder and CTO of Tego AI.

Previously, Tal co-founded CloudEssence, tackling cloud-native application security before it was a mainstream concern, and saw it through to acquisition by Contrast Security in 2020, where he then served as Director of Cloud Security Research. Earlier, he led security research at Protego Labs, acquired by Check Point. Across two decades in the industry, he has been a regular speaker at Black Hat, DEF CON, OWASP, and other leading conferences.

Tal holds an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Quinnipiac University, and mentors and invests in early-stage cybersecurity founders working on deep technical problems.
